Diamond Tail Stand Up Paddle Boards
For the 2012 Series Models we bumped up the nose rocker slightly and modified the outline pulling in the nose a touch. We trimmed volume out of the nose and tail area to make for better performance turning and kept volume in the belly to help with stability when on the flatwater. The changes should give you a board that surfs better and still plenty stable for a flatwater cruise.
The Diamond Tail is a great beginner to intermediate surf model for larger riders who may also want to do some flat water paddling. At 31” wide it is the same width as the Glider but a lot shorter which enables it to be much more maneuverable in the surf. The flatter nose rocker helps compensate for the shorter length in flat water and will make it surf more like a traditional fish in the surf. The extra width and thickness makes this model have a lot of volume without all the extra length of a longer board. The diamond tail helps pivot the board sharply in the pocket and offset the increased volume of the board. Comes standard with a quad plus box fin, enabling endless fin set-ups.
