Kane Garden

Kane Garden Fish Surfboards

Kane Garden Fish Surfboards, located in San Diego California, has quietly been making high quality surfboards for years and have developed a variety of unique boards that last. Kane Garden’s lead shaper Stu Kenson, began surfing in 1969 and shaped his first board in 1972 and he later opened his own surfboard label called Evening Glass in 1987. Stu Kenson later went on to shape/design for Weber Surfboards, Rusty Surfboards, and Joel Tudor designs and has shaped boards for top professional surfers including Joel Tudor, Rochelle Ballard, Kevin Connelly, and Saxon Boucher. Stu continues to work with San Diego’s up and coming surfers.

While Kane Garden Fish Surfboards is most known for their classic looking retro fishes, the company states that “we do not build retro surfboards. Instead, all of our board designs are post modern with the most advanced design features available."
